An early morning blaze that broke out at approximately 5:20 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, destroyed a ranch house in the 600 block of Pinnacle Court.
According to Mesquite Fire Department Chief of Operations Rick Resnick, the house and contents were a total loss. "We still have some hot spots but we've knocked down the fire for the most part. There
were three people in the house when the fire broke out but they all got out safely. We checked them over for injuries on-scene but no one required transportation to the hospital," Resnick said.
It was too early to make a determination about the cause of the fire.
Houses on either side of the destroyed home did not suffer any damage according to Resnick.
