I came out of the Casino today smelling like cigarette smoke and I don't smoke. I then went to a "SMOKE FREE MESQUITE" meeting and learned that even 30 minutes in a casino/bar can harm your heart, lungs and blood vessels. We were shown two pig's lungs. One lung was black from second-hand smoke for five years and the other lung was smoke free, healthy and pink. It was stated that most likely all casino employee's lungs are black. We must make Mesquite smoke free. My husband and I made a vow to no longer frequent the casinos until they are smoke free!

Posted Date: 07/05/2012 I'm so sorry you've succumbed to the brainwashing. I don't give credence to zealots, and there are few as rabid as the anti-smoking crowd. I don't believe the pig lung story, and i certainly don't buy into the idiotic notion that casino employee lungs are black. A pretty big leap, even for the anti-smoking whackos. And before the scalping starts -- I have never smoked! I just don't believe I should be forcing my non-smoking lifestyle on other people with lies about second-hand smoke. By: Devon

Posted Date: 07/10/2012 Those black lungs are not a joke. A doctor told me 30 years ago that a smoker's lungs turned black. If you think that the secondhand smoke in the casino doesn't have that effect, too, you are living in fantasy land. Did you know casino workers have to sign a release that they won't sue if they develop a disease caused by smoking? Why do you think that is? The black lung may be overly dramatic, but dramatics seems to be the only way to get the attention of you lunkheads.

I still think the Lees could make the slot parlor outside of Gregory's non-smoking as no one plays there!!
