The following incidents were taken, in part, from the Mesquite Police Department Blotter for the week of June 24-30, 2012. All persons involved in these incidents are presumed innocent until found guilty by the court.
6/25/12 Noise Complaint: Police responded to a noise complaint coming from a vehicle at an apartment complex. They found a man in a vehicle drinking alcohol. He was arrested for DUI.
6/25/12 Stolen Vehicle: A resident reported his car stolen from a parking lot on Mesa Boulevard.
6/25/12 Reckless Driver: Police received a report of a female driver driving on and off the sidewalk on Riverside Road.
6/25/12 Fraud: A citizen reported fraudulent activity on his checking account.
6/26/12 Sexual Assault: Officers responded to a local residence on a report of a sexual assault. Detectives began an investigation.
6/27/12 Theft: Police responded to a report of the theft of multiple computers from a local store on W. Pioneer Boulevard.
6/28/12 Traffic Accident: Officers responded to an accident between a golf cart and an automobile. There were no injuries but damage was sustained to both vehicles.
6/28/12 Suspicious Circumstances: A resident noticed some unusual marks on a rear sliding glass door to a home on Chalet Drive.
6/29/12 Burglary: Officers responded to Las Palmas Circle on a report of a possible burglary.
6/29/12 Theft From Vehicle: Police responded to a report of a theft from a vehicle on Jacaranda Way.
6/29/12 Theft From Residence: A citizen reported a missing wallet and $200 cash from a residence on Mesa Boulevard.
6/29/14 Suspicious Circumstances: Police responded to a residence on Cottonwood Drive regarding the welfare of a child.
6/29/12 Domestic Problem: Police responded to a disorderly male attempting to gain entry to a residence on Greens Way. He was arrested for Breach of the Peace.
6/29/12 Fight: Police responded to a convenience store on a report of two females fighting. Upon arrival, one female was on the ground and was transported to the hospital. An investigation was begun.
6/30/12 Theft: Officers responded to Hiawatha Way regarding the theft of a firearm.
6/30/12 Theft: Officers responded to a business on West Mesquite Boulevard regarding the theft of patio chairs.
6/30/12 Runaway: Police were dispatched to make contact with a juvenile that had run away from a wilderness program.
6/30/12 Found Property: Police were called to a residence on Eagle Street by the resident who found a set of keys inside her garage.
