The Virgin River Casino (VRC) is hosting a holiday blood drive on July 4th from 9am – 2pm at the River Room of the VRC.

"The holiday week is going to be quite difficult for our community blood supply. Usage will most definitely spike the entire week, and we currently are not projected to collect enough blood to meet those projected needs. Every drop is precious to a patient in Southern Nevada," explained

Julie Lindsay, Senior Donor Recruiter at the United Blood Services, Nevada.

Donors must be 17 years of age or older, in good health and photo identification. Eating a hearty meal and drinking lots of water before donating is highly recommended.
