The following incidents were taken, in part, from the Mesquite Police Department blotter for the week of June 10-16, 2012. All persons involved in these incidents are presumed innocent until proven guilty by the court.
6/10/12 Theft From Vehicle: Officers responded to a gated community on W. Mesquite Boulevard regarding a report of several vehicles being broken into.
6/10/12 Theft From Vehicle: A report was taken on a theft from a vehicle on Auto Mall Circle at the car dealership.
6/10/12 Burglary: Officers responded to a report of a residential burglary on Thistle Avenue.
6/11/12 Theft From Vehicle: Police responded to a report of a theft from a vehicle on Pinion Lane.
6/11/12 Burglary: Officers responded to a report of a residential burglary on Beacon Ridge Way.
6/12/12 Intoxicated Person: Officers responded to a person walking in the roadway. An adult male was arrested for Intoxicated Person Walking in the Roadway.
6/12/12 Civil Matter: A woman called police wanting to evict her husband from the residence. Officers advised her it was a civil matter and to contact family court.
6/13/12 Identity Theft: A citizen made a report to police about identity theft.
6/14/12 Drunk Driver: A citizen called police to report a drunk driver at the Rebel Gas Station. Officers arrived and after an investigation, arrested the male for Driving Under the Influence.
6/15/12 Burglary: Police responded to a residential burglary on Sawgrass Way.
6/15/12 Panhandling: Police responded to a complaint at a fast food restaurant of a male and female panhandling. Both were identified and arrested for panhandling.
6/16/12 Fight: Police responded to a fight in the parking lot of a local nightclub. Several subjects were involved but left before police arrived.
6/16/12 Indecent Exposure: Officers responded to a report of indecent exposure on Sun Valley Drive.
6/16/12 Drunk Driver: Officers observed an intoxicated male and female exit a grocery store. A traffic stop was conducted and the male was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
6/16/12 Traffic problem: Police responded to numerous calls reporting a reckless/intoxicated driver on I-15. Officers located the vehicle and as a result of the investigation the driver was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
