What should be the outcome of the current IRS scandal in which certain tax-exempt groups were targeted for further review?

Someone should be fired
Someone should go to jail
Nothing, it was an honest mistake

BLM Releases Assessment of Proposed Pipeline Project
Posting Date: 06/14/2012

Press Release

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Elko District Office, Tuscarora Field Office released a preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) on a proposed pipeline in North Elko County for public review until July 13, 2012.

Prospector Pipeline Company has proposed constructing an approximate 24-mile, 8-12 inch natural gas pipeline from the Ruby Valley Pipeline at a main line valve near Willow Creek Reservoir to the mill at Barrick Goldstrike. The proposed pipeline does not traverse any wild horse herd management areas.

The EA analyzes the impacts of constructing and operating an underground natural gas pipeline on public and private lands located in Elko and Eureka Counties. The proposed pipeline right-of-way would be 80-feet wide on public lands and 75-feet wide on private lands during construction, and 30-feet wide and 15-feet wide, respectively, after construction is complete.

The preliminary EA is available for viewing online on the District’s website: www.blm.gov/rv5c under NEPA, Projects under National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Review. The preliminary EA will be posted for a 30-day public

review period. BLM will select the action(s) to be implemented and issue a decision after the comment period ends on July 13, 2012.

If you have a comment on the preliminary EA, please mail it BLM, Elko District Office Attn: North Elko Pipeline Project at 3900 E. Idaho St., Elko, NV 89801, or send it via e-mail to scraddock@blm.gov.

Before including your address, phone number, e-mail address, or other personal identifying information in your comment, you should be aware that your entire comment (including your personal identifying information) may be made publicly available at any time. While you can ask us in your comment to withhold your personal identifying information from public review, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so.
If you have questions concerning the information presented in the preliminary EA, or if you would like to request a printed copy or CD of the document, please contact Steve Craddock, Realty Specialist, via email at scraddock@blm.gov or by phone at (775) 753-0273.
