Great. Just what Mesquite DIDN'T need - a lawyer taking over the justice office. Even worse...if Beausoleil ultimately gets the office, it will be a choice Mesquite will come to regret. She is not what she seems. For starters, she's only a part-time resident here. Want to know what an arrogant, black-hearted person she really is? Ask some of the other former Ms. Senior Mesquite contestants or board members who have had to put up with her. She wants the status, not the job. As for Toone...a very sharp guy. But if he leaves the City Attorney's office, it will leave an intelligence void that will make a black hole seem like an inconvenience. Toone was destined to bring integrity and reason back to the City Attorney's office. With him gone, and CHunt choosing his replacement, that office is only going to go further downhill. (I know, it doesn't seem possible, but it is.)

Devon - what the heck is wrong with having a JP that actually has legal training! Heaven forbid we get someone who actually know and understands the law to make legal rulings! Karen Beaujolais is competent, experienced, and as a bonus, is also schooled and experienced in psychology, which will assist in understanding the numerous domestic situations encountered by the JP.

John this concerned me when you said "as a bonus, is also schooled and experienced in psychology which will assist in understanding the numerous domestic situations" By what school and by who, what philosophy? I beg to differ but I don't need to be psychoanalyzed by a JP over a law issue in a small town

To Whom It May Concern: Devon's remarks that include the opinions of the Ms. Senior Mesquite Pageant and it's membershio are totally false. His/her opnion is just that....and does not speak for the Board of Directors not it's membership. Thank you. MB
