The Governors Office of Economic Development, Procurement Outreach Program is participating together with the Nevada Department of Transportation and the Nevada Small Business Development Center in workshops. Local contractors and/or any small businesses interested in the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise certification program through NDOT are invited to attend. The workshop is free and

will be an overview to the next 8-10 months of training that the Governors Office has planned to assist Nevada businesses become successful contractors or subcontractors on NDOT Federal Highway funded projects as well as other federal, state or local government contracting opportunities. The event is in Elko on May 30 and in Reno on May 31.
