Edwin R. (Ed) Olson, of Mesquite, NV, passed away April 15, 2012 in St. George, Utah. He was born May 17th, 1930, in Springville, Utah. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Thea Olson of Mesquite, daughter Ingrid (Ken )Bell of Lehi, Utah and son R. Kim (Bari) Olson of Pleasant Grove, Utah, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was

a retired veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired Master Sergeant of the Utah National Guard. He was a member of Mesquite B.P.O.E. and past Exalted Ruler and also a previous member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce and received the Distinguished Service Award.

A private memorial service with full military honors was held April 20th at Warenski Funeral Chapel in American Fork, Utah; ashes interred at Camp Williams in Draper, Utah. He will be greatly missed by family, friends, and associates.
