As 60 Dames took their seats adorning their Spring bonnets, Jeanine Wehner, President, welcomed everyone, then started the luncheon off with a story about her first ice fishing experience. She had her fold up chair, bucket, pole and all the necessities. She drilled a hole in the ice, dropped her line in when she heard a voice, “There are no fish under the ice.”
She looked around did not see anyone, decided this was probably not the right spot. She gathered all her gear and headed to another area, drilled another hole, got all relaxed and was about to drop the line, When again the voice said, “There are no fish under the ice.” Looking around she still did not see anyone.
She again packed her gear and headed this time to the very far end, again drilled
the hole in the ice and was just getting comfortable to drop the line, when again the voice resounded, “ There are no fish under the ice.” She looked up and said, “God, is that you?” The voice replied "no, it’s the manager of the Hockey rink."
The Dames were entertained by Piano man Steve and Glenniz, who had them up and moving and grooving.
