I believe in Equality. Our Constitution and Amendments were predicated and developed to preserve rights and equality in America.... So people that are willing to perform hard work, administrative work, medical work, investment work, risk of Business Venture are equal under our Democracy....
Only in the last 20 years...' piece by piece.' have people over-stepped these Constitutional and Democracy boundaries.... Now, there are people that have the idea that some people are better than all others! Therefore; these separate people should be privileged over other people.... Not only is this happening... but they are
getting more and more of the small people, (People that should not be considered small), to support these people that think they are the privileged and deserve to be above equality and the Constitution.
Yes, there are other ways to say it.... but you would not like it! No more hiding millions and billions of dollars from tax’s, would be a start back to equality in the human struggle! We have give up Medicare Benefits, and now they are talking about giving up Social Security and additional Medicare and Medical benefits; while at the same time requiring the same established continuance of taxing techniques for National Debt - Resolution....Has, our Congress become mentally retarded!

Posted Date: 04/18/2012 Well said, Steven! I've never understood why so many of "us," the little people, continue to champion the causes of the ultra-wealthy. For example, the Buffett Rule would mandate that rich people don't pay a lower tax rate than the rest of us, yet Congress has blocked even a discussion of this idea. Instead, the proposal that looks like a shoe-in is -- wait for it -- more tax cuts for the rich to "stimulate growth." Really? They had a bunch of tax cuts renewed three years ago. Where's that mythical growth? It's complete insanity for working people to show so little sense of self preservation by continuing to think that giving tax breaks to the wealthiest among us is good. If a FAIR share of the cost of operating our government (and I absolutely believe that cost should be cut in HALF) isn't paid by those who have all the money, then who IS going to pay for it? That's right, us working stiffs. And our children. And our grandchildren. Meanwhile the wealthiest continue to thumb their noses at the worker bees who actually make the wheels go round. And I think "worker bees" is the right analogy, because like the panic in the insect world, OUR colony is collapsing into oblivion. By: Devon
