H & R Block Tax Service and Mesquite Elks Lodge 2811 fought right down to the final frame to see which team would come out as the 2nd half winner and after the scores were finalized H & R Block won by ½ of a point, 179.5-179.0.

This next Wednesday night H & R Block and Mesquite Lock Doc (1st half winner) will bowl for the Championship trophy and league winner. All the other teams will be bowling to move up in the money standings.

The 4 teams that will join the 1st half top 4 teams in the final night roll off are H & R Block, Mesquite Elks, Mesquite Chiropractic and Oasis Chiropractic Center. The 1st half 4 teams were Mesquite Lock Doc, Kelly Smith Investments, Mesquite Playoffs and Mesa View Quick Care. Now for the results:

As previously mentioned H&R Block had to win 12 points to over take Mesquite Elks and that was exactly what they did. Gary Higashi (221, 201, 218, 641); Ronn Karr (237, 207, 606) and Darwin Wimer (195, 208, 583) led H&R Block to their victory. Jeff Jacobson (214, 205, 570) was high for the Elks team as they won 8 points.

Mesquite Chiropractic behind T.C. Collier (227, 213, 624); Terry King (194, 193, 233, 620); Danny Barker (192, 224, 600) and Ray Schultz (193) knocked C.I.T.Y. Shoppes out of the roll off by taking a 15-5 win. Michael Drieling (205, 566) and Gary Furrer (212) bowled well for C.I.T.Y. Shoppes.

Oasis Chiropractic Center took advantage of C.I.T.Y. Shoppes down fall and took the final spot by grabbing a 14-6 match from Mesa View Quick Care. Dan Hoffman (227, 214, 208, 649); Gene Peters (190, 190, 214, 594) and Wayne Adams (197) supplied the needed power for Oasis Chiropractic. Robert Smith Sr. (204, 213, 208, 625) and Ron O’Brien (213, 194) bowled well for Mesa View.

Beaver Dam Station came out as the top points winner for the night as they won 16 from North View Laundromat. Bradley Souders (200, 196, 210, 606) and Raul Gomez (235, 563) led Beaver Dam. Alan Bolla (221, 554) and Rick Parsons (199) did well for North View.

Foot and Ankle Institute behind Steve Ginther (225, 204, 612) and Earl Peterson (201, 195, 577) took 15 points from Home Plate Diner.

Dan Montague (236, 197, 269, 702); Doug Love (230, 237, 651) and Max Burgess (210, 193, 571) led Mitchell Farmers Insurance to a 14-6 win over Mesquite Playoffs. Hector Munoz (211, 210, 559) ; Bob Boers (196) and Dennis Hartley(190) were high for Playoffs.

Breadenstuffers Express behind Rich Heintzelman ( 237, 233, 630) took 13 points from Kelly Smith Investments. Walt Kuster (223) and Carl Larsen (199) had good games for Kelly Smith as they won 7 points.

LandTrends Landscaping got by Oasis Golf Club 12-8 as Cliff Hennery (241, 236, 642) and Bob Monson Jr. (194) supplied the power. Mike Carpenter (220); Bob Ault (201) and Randy Tickner (192, 194) bowled well for Oasis Golf Club.

Mesquite Lock Doc warmed up for their match next week with H&R Block by taking a 11-9 match from Capt. 4 A Day. Randee Fry (204, 223, 214, 641); Ken Safranek (218, 558) and Ryan Ford (192) were high for Lock Doc and David Alexander (204) bowled

good for Capt. 4 A day.

Falcon Ridge Dental also won 11 points as they beat Colonial Management. Marty Conway (217, 192, 561) and Jim Bixler (200) were high for Falcon Ridge. For Colonial Management Paul Levan (191, 197, 561) was high.

Our last 2 matches came out 10-10. Willie Theis (237, 194, 610); Mark Brackelsbereg (217) and Gary Hathaway (192) were high for Maves Construction. CrossFit 212 was led by Cliff Johnson (203, 237, 603) and Gary Moore (209, 203, 190, 602).

Bank of Nevada and Debbie’s Cleaning Service also bowled to 10-10. For the Bankers Larry Ford (202, 226, 591) and Larry Willis (220, 200, 575) were high. Debbie’s was led by Bobby Napper (208, 202, 567), John Martin (211, 202, 563) and John Schulz (216).

Money winners for the week were Rich Heintzelman 774 and Dan Montague 290.
