Salad Bar Donation To Senior Center
Posting Date: 03/14/2012

Press Release

The Mesquite Athletics and Leisure Services Department was presented with a check of $1500, In February. The funds were received from an anonymous donor; funds were issued to support the salad bar at the Senior Center. We would like to thank the donor for their generous donation and respect their wishes of the donation of being anonymous. Due to the generous support and donation the center will be able to continue the salad bar for the next two months (March & April).

A very special thanks goes to resident and friend Gary Esary. Gary funded the salad bar for the month of February.

With the help of volunteers and monetary donation the Senior Center continues to provide a valuable service to the seniors in our rural community. We provide service to Mesquite and Bunkerville with a congregate site and 175 homebound

deliveries.

The programs use volunteers to help with some of the Center's most important work. Our volunteers and donors, people like you, are the backbone of our organization.

The Mesquite Community/Senior Center staff is deeply grateful for their efforts as volunteers and monetary donations. Thank you for giving so generously of your time and talents. Because of individuals like you, we are better able to serve all clients and patrons of the community.

Your dedication to service will help continue to make a difference in the lives of people who are vulnerable or facing poverty. We are blessed to have you as part of their family.

For more information on this and other programs please contact the Department of Athletics & Leisure Services at (702) 346-8732. Register for youth and adult programs online at: www.mesquitenv.gov or at the Administrative Offices located at 100 W. Old Mill Road.
