Dr. Blazzard goes back to School

Local dentist, Dr. Alex Blazzard, went back to school… JL Bowler Elementary to be exact. Back to school, as February is National Children’s Dental Health Month. Dr. Blazzard visited all the kindergarten classes on Friday, February 21.

The popular local dentist and the children reviewed how to keep teeth clean and even dressed up a few students as teeth for demonstrations. The Office of the U.S. Surgeon General released a study showing that states lose more than 51 million school hours each year to dental-related illness. It is important to develop good oral health care habits at an early age. Visiting your dentist regularly can help children get a good start on a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums.
