The City of Mesquite is currently taking team registration for all adult leagues. Registrations must be made in person at the Department of Athletics & Leisure Services Administrative Offices, located at 100 West Old Mill Road. Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Free Swimming Lessons Offered by Mesquite Rec CenterPosting Date: 04/30/2013
The Southern Nevada Chapter of the International Code Council, from the Clark County Building Department, has given the Department of Athletics & Leisure Services a grant to provide free swimming lessons to children 4 years old and under. This grant has been provided in the hopes of reducing the number of toddler drowning accidents in Southern Nevada. Since the inception of this program the statistics of drowning’s have dropped over the years.

Heart Walk Thank YouPosting Date: 02/18/2013
The City of Mesquite would like to thank all of the volunteers, organizations and individuals for their help organizing and contributing to the 9th Annual Heart Walk. “It was a tremendous success, thanks largely to the generosity of the sponsors, donors and volunteers,” said Nicholas Montoya, Associate Director.
This year’s event attracted 404 participants for the 3.2 mile (5K) walk. We are looking forward to next year’s event as it’s our 10th Annual Walk.
